City Tax Structure
Approximately 29% of the City of Abbeville’s General Fund budget comes in the form of Property Taxes levied within the City. The Local Option Sales Tax or (LOST Credit) currently in place in Abbeville County is a one cent sales tax which is used to offset a portion of property taxes that would otherwise be paid.
